Hey, are there any NDN authors/speakers/activists you recommend people to look up?

I highly recommend any and all media from prominent AIM members: Russell Means, Leonard Peltier, Vernon Bellecourt, and Glenn T. Morris come to mind. 

There’s also Janey McCloud, who helped form Women of All Red Nations; Vine Deloria, who coined the phrase “red power”; and Herbert Welsh, who, while not native himself, was one of the first white men to rally for indigenous rights.

As for books, check out Leonard Peltier’s Prison WritingsBury My Heart at Wounded Knee by Dee Brown, and In the Spirit of Crazy Horse by Peter Matthiessen.
